A huge disappointment, to be honest. The premise of this book could've been really cool, but it just didn't work in the final product. I guess that when you write as many books at Stephen King does, some of them are gonna be a miss.

I can't say I've ever had the displeasure of reading a bad work from Stephen King, and at this point I don't think I ever will. I loved this little story. I loved how sweet it was and how it touched on the prejudice experienced by the LGBTQ+ community—specifically lesbians this time. I loved the simplicity of it. Most of all, I loved the characters and how much they loved each other. I relate a lot to Deirdre McComb, so it was especially touching to see how she evolved over the course of this novella.
Honestly I just love Stephen King and his storytelling abilities. This man could write my eulogy and even death wouldn't stop me from finding a way to read it.
