So I skimmed this, and the illustrations are pretty good, very telling, almost like a mini movie. I normally do not read graphic novels, mostly cause seomtimes i get lost in the boxes and its just...difficult. But since I pretty much know the story backwards and forwards, it was a bit easier with this one. They did change a few of the lines/delivery of the story from the book, but I suppose that is alright. They kept the main essence, which is always integral. I thought it was done pretty well. Of course the story is always great in any form in my opinion. I thought some of the scenes were really pretty, visually. Other than that, i do not know what else to really say..

Really fun idea. But I would recommend the book over the comic. A lot of detail is missed.

3.5 stars.

The style of art is nice. I feel some of the scenes could have been portrayed better. Of course I loved the story. Percy Jackson is my favorite series after all. I just felt like this version lacked some of Percy's iconic humor, which is one of my favorite things about these books.

I read this whole thing outside so it meets that Booktube-A-Thon challenge. Never again. (Well, maybe again, but only when its no longer 90 degrees).
