Not as good as the original book, but for a graphic novel I found it to be a good read.

The graphic novel had to fit in as much as possible from the original book. So there is not much development of Annabeth’s character.

Love being able to read the lightning thief in one sitting if ever needed! Skipped some of the storyline here & there, but still 5 stars! Favorite pages were the spreads of Camp Halfblood & Mount Olympus.

Sloppy writing, when they did decide to not just lift text straight from the novel. This was obviously a rushed work. Changes to the story beats were made that really soured a lot of the big reveals and powerful moments. Avoid this.

A fun new way to experience Percy Jackson. They did however drop a few things from the book which I guess is to be expected. I was triggered when they used an off brand regular cola instead of a Diet Coke for Mr. D.

They skipped some major plot points from the book, and the illustration was sometimes a little lazy, but all in all it was quite satisfying.
