Love the voice and cadence of this book. The world building is great and I love a pirate book where there's time spent on a ship.
The slow burn between Declan and Aoife was great. I loved how he protected her and couldn't stay away from her even though he tried.
She has an interesting role in her family but she seems like there's more to her. Love adventures, romance, pirates and puzzles or prophecies.

this was a fun read for me! i haven’t delved into any pirate stories until this one because i didn’t think i would like it. this book surprised me though! it has just as much action as it does a sweet romance. i liked it enough that i will read the next book, but not so much that i had to read it immediately after

What a great story! I can't wait to read the next one. I knew I wanted to read this book but when Vanessa and Megs decided to do the read along, I had to get on board. I'm invested in the characters' journeys and can't wait to learn more about them, including the side characters. The set up for book two has me ready to get into it right now. I love a good cliff hanger, when the next book is ready to go and I don't have to wait for it to come out.. ☺️

why was this book this long? could have easily been like 200 pages shorter, none of the characters had chemistry and i genuinely disliked the mmc and fmc, only saving grace of this book was tommy but he was the one character that we didn’t have to read the thoughts of

Enjoyable read, haven’t read about pirates in ages! Appreciate they are both deeply flawed although
it was obvious he killed Lani from the start and it was probably too early for him to declare undying love. Would have appreciated more exploration of the fae stuff.
