*sigh* Another disappointing sequel. This book very much suffers from second-book-syndrome; the love interests are enemies again, barely anything happens plot-wise, we’re introduced to a bunch of characters I don’t give a fuck about, and the FMC is constantly having long pointless monologues about the same shit.
For god’s sake I would really like to read a fantasy romance where the female lead isn’t secretly royalty and there isn’t some war brewing that will take 3 pointless books to come to a head. Smh
