I really enjoyed the concept and how, despite dire circumstances, this book felt cozy. A very cool way to re-imagine a well-know fairy tale.

I liked Zinnia a lot in this book. She was not a perfect person. I lived the attitude she had throughout the story and how her relationships with her best friend and Prim were handled. The romance was really sweet as well.

It's fine for what it is. I don't think it's particularly original or has anything interesting to say. I've read better adaptions of Sleeping Beauty and I found the writing somewhat defensive and flat. Overall, a decent book to eat up an hour, but nothing to write home about.
