I read 20% and couldn’t read any more. I understand that this book is satirical but the writing style was just all over the place. The plot (or lack thereof) had 0 flow and was just more confusing and dry than the last page. I had no desire to read anymore.

I tried. I tried to like Vonnegut...
Maybe I just didn't get it. It drove me crazy.
I always feel like Vonnegut is probably cleverer than I am, but still not nearly as clever as he would like to believe he is.
I don't know. I should probably give it another chance someday.

I loved the way the time and place shifted, like the faint memories of a dying man visiting him just before his departure. War is unquestionably cruel :/ so it goes.

A really really weird book. There were aspects of the story that I wanted to learn more about, but we were constantly being bounced back and forth and it seems like only skimmed the surface of multiple stories. Read for a book club but otherwise would have not finished.
