I loved it, it caused me so much emotion to read again about the halls of the great Empire High School. I have read all the books of the Ivy universe and I am a number 1 fan of the story of James and Penny, I could not leave without knowing what Little Scarlett is like in her Senior Year. I love so much how Sophie is a copy of her Dad Rob and how they are so close even though they are cousins, they are Besties. I give the book 5 stars because it has everything that I like, Romance and Mischief.
If you're a fan of Temptation, this novella is for you!

Omg. Lol!!!! First off I want to start with Scarlett definitely reminds me of ASH!!!! A little too innocent and clueless. LOL Sophie is amazing. She's alot more tamer than Chastity thats for sure but the little Easter eggs I noticed definitely make me compare these two to two other characters. Aside from that I really enjoyed this quick little novella. I'm still hoping for a full book for Scarlett, fingers crossed. Ivy is THE Queen of Cliffhangers. Who runs into a random room and not turn the lights on before you take one step in.? Ay yi yi. Lol these girls. It was fun and the title fits perfectly ! I laughed alot. I even cried a wee bit for Sweet Jacob. I really feel alot for his character!!!! It is confirmed. Jacob Miller. It breaks my heart and I don't like Scarlett being wishy washy. Jacob doesn't deserve that. It was killing me softly. Him driving his "truck"
Okay, Ivy, I immediately need MORE. I literally love getting to see everyone's kids go through that weird high school phase in their life and I love the world you've built. In saying that, I adored this novella. It had me cracking up because the characters are just SO FUNNY! I mean, you have two of Rob's offspring in here so of course it's going to be two times as hilarious. But, just the situations you come up with for them to navigate through are so unique and so funny.
Also, if you've read a lot of other Ivy books, she puts so many little Easter eggs in her stories. I unexpectedly sobbed twice when Scarlett mentioned Jacob's truck and his dancing with his mother every night. We get a nod to Isabella the Troll. We also get a nod to the relationship of the Hunter/Caldwells growing up, too.
Overall, this novella was great and I'm dying for more. I loved the glimpse of this that we got in that anthology and I love it even more now. This is a definite recommend from me!

Oh Scarlett!!!
Such a good light hearted short about Scarlett's first kiss! We all fell in love with James and Penny... And their daughter is now a senior in high school and trying to navigate love! Loved the interactions between all the kids of the originals. Definitely worth the read.

Ok… I love these kids, but I was also giggling at the grownups too. This book… Scarlett was so good. It took me back to high school, and how everything was a big deal. Her kiss thief was definitely sneaky. I love Jacob. The story of Brooklyn & Jacob’s father was so sweet, and you can see the similarities of Miller & Jacob. The ending… oh my goodness the ending! This one was wild. I was giggling, but sometimes the angst was heartbreaking at times. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
Ivy has a way of bringing you into her characters world. I absolutely love the Hunters and can not wait to keep reading about them. I will forever believe that the Hunter and Caldwells are real and want to meet them. This story was short, but the most perfect addition into their world.
Welcome to Empire High second generation . I loved loved loved seeing all the kids grown up. However , it seems history is repeating itself and I’m not 100 percent sure how I feel about that. As usual the writing was good and I had a lot of laugh out loud moments and a few moments where I was sad but I can’t help but feel these kids are slightly more immature than what their parents were at that age.
Scarlett reminds me a lot of myself in a way and that truly shows the extent of how Ivy can write relatable characters that feel like you are reading about yourself or your best friend .
My only complaint with this book is that I wish it was longer because I just couldn’t get enough of it .
