"The 9th Symbol" by Deana Zhollis is a fantasy tale set on Earth in the future. The author has taken several well-known fairy tales and woven them into the stories but it does contain adult themes.

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I had hoped and the stories didn't hold my interest.
