Good. Quick read lots of twist and turns and definitely spicier than I expected. Good start to the series! Sad when I realized the series doesn’t just follow Ava & Alex.
I should have just DNF’d this tbh, it was like watching a train wreck but I guess I must hate myself at least a little because I actually finished it.

I was not expecting this to be that good.
Alex is so possessive and I absolutely love it. I love a good “I would burn the world for her” book boyfriend. I loved seeing him transform and see his sweet side over time. And I loved Ava. I’ve gotten annoyed with “sunshine” characters in the past but not this time. It’s just the right amount.
I was entertained the entire time. There was actually decent structure and plot to this. And fuck, the smüt was good. So so good.
The book felt a bit rushed in some parts but I guess that’s what kept it fast paced. But dear god did I love the grovelling at the end.
