I didn't realize this was originally a freebie from prolific works. But now that it's been put on Amazon, I feel like it should have been fleshed out a bit more in order to generate better character development. It felt like I was thrown in the middle of the story and was caught off guard so by the time I felt like I was caught up the story was over. This rushed feeling prevented me from having any investment into the characters or their story.

This seemed short for a novella, I liked the setup, and plot but it ended too quickly and I didn’t feel like I got enough time with the characters. Their coupling felt rushed too when reading and (ouch) I think a little more time would need to be taken to get everyone ready

This was one of the worst book I've ever read. It was awkward and way too rushed.

3 stars. Entirely too short. I can definitely get behind Daddy/Cowboy dynamics and I hope this becomes a thing because that sounds really damn hot and from the little glimpse we get here, it totally is. You don't get to know Dean or Sterling well at all so it was hard to become invested in them and their relationship. This has so much potential and I really hope the author is planning on expanding it because I think it'd be great to get to know these characters better and get a chance to watch their relationship progress. For what it is, it's okay and a very quick read but nothing to write home about unfortunately.
