I have to say, as much as I've loved all of the Witch Central books and these characters, this one didn't do much for me. Throughout most of the series, even the shorts, I felt like any reader could pick it up and still enjoy the story, even if they weren't familiar with the previous books. It has been a while since I read them, so maybe they are just too far back in my memory, but this time I felt like it was too ingrained into personalities we met before. I found myself trying to remember too much and couldn't get into the flow. Still, I love Geary's writing, character development, and gentle way of seeking answers. I look forward to whatever she comes up with next.

Witch Central short story about their trip to Costa Rica. The final book in this series will be out in October and I am not looking forward to the end of this series. These books are amazing stories of friends, family and community with a bit of magick tossed in to make it interesting. You don't have to believe in magick to love them, you just have to believe in family and that families come in all shapes and sizes.

So far into this series that I had to read this one, but I found it overly cheesy and lacking in real substance.

Loved this.. I'm sad that this series is coming to a close. I've loved all of the books.

Another heartwarming morsel from Debora Geary, and it is hard to believe this is one of the last times I will be reading a story about witches I have grown to love over the past several years. This story is about all the things that make Witch Central amazing: love, connections, and an understanding of what it takes to grow into who you are meant to be. It is beautifully written and might make you a little teary, but all the best Witch Central books do. If you are new to this series, you might want to start with A Modern Witch, but if you are a series veteran, this morsel will only disappoint in that the series is nearing its end.
