Excellent - moved it up the queue after watching the hilarious book trailer with my 4th & 5th traders. Have some great ideas for making a corresponding Google Tour of the Pine Barrens to share with readers!

this series was recommended by a colleague's MG son.  Students at my school love cryptozoology, so i thought I'd give it a try. Wasn't disappointed at all. I Intend to buy this book and see how it appeals to our library users.  Good themes of friendship, stewardship.  just the right amount of danger and tension for intended audience +-10 yo.

Listened to this with my kids after seeing it recommended as a good family audiobook. It's probably a little old for my kids as the main characters appear to be in upper elementary school. They still enjoyed it, but were scared a couple of times.

A great fantasy book for young readers. A field trip takes a turn after two kids hear noises in the woods. Then they go on a wild journey.
