Continuing to enjoy this series, and very happy I went back and gave this a second chance!

Reading The Lumberjanes during my test week at college is quickly becoming a tradition. Nothing better to bring a little fun to a stress-addled mind than those gals! I really enjoyed this volume: the new characters (the selkies and Seafarin’ Karen) were pretty interesting and unique, and I liked to see the bear woman again (and pirate Ripley!).

Also, I like how the adventures all build towards a meta-plot (what was that aura around the girls at the end? why did the bear woman say that Molly is not yet ready?). I’m excited to read the next volumes!

I love the diversity of the Lumberjanes. Each girl is so well developed and their adventures are so fun and off the wall. The art style is still different; it's obvious that Noelle isn't doing it, though she did create the volume's cover. Still, I look forward to reading Vol. 7 when it's released.

To me this was a lot better than volume 5. I can definitely feel something big coming, hopefully in the next volume and I can’t wait til Dec to get it. Now that there are no new volumes I’ll be sure to get my hands on the single issues asap. Also, I really liked the lore that was used in this volume as I knew a bit about it before going in. Overall, super cute and fun as always!
