Some books just don’t pass the test of time.

Be to, kadangi personažai nereflektuoja, kas vyksta, žiauriai sunku suprasti, kurie įvykiai svarbūs. Tiksliau atrodo, kad svarbūs visi, bet tada istorija tampa monotoniška, be aiškių ups and downs.

The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is that the author sometimes rushes through certain plot points, in my opinion. But overall, it's a very good book.

DID NOT FINISH

I found this book dull and confusing; I had no interest in slogging through it, even though it was for my S.F. book club.

I find Roger Zelazny's 'Lord of Light' to be a perfect realization of the merging of myth and far future science fiction. Mr. Zelazny's imagined world is rich with characters, culture, and aliens, all mixed into an emergent factional conflict which originates with the Gods.
