The First book of Mr. Deaver that I had read( which is weird since The Bone Colector was a great movie). But I liked it alot and it actually got me to read his others that you see listed here. Some are better than others but this one was pretty damn good.

A crime story with twists and turns, parts that made me feel slightly uncomfortable (no spoilers!) twists and turns and enough plot to keep me both interested, but making sure I still knew what was going on. Iā€™d recommend the Lincoln Rhyme series as a good read for anybody who enjoys crime fiction.

I didn't dislike it but it wasn't that great either. I have some opinions about the character of Lincoln Rhyme (he got particularly on my nerves in this one), and about Amelia also, I am not a huuuuuge fan of how the romance is handled either, and some expressions and stereotypes ended up being bothersome. But the plot, the work on the cases and the investigation are the meat and potatoes of the book and I am still very entertained by it, so I will continue on with the series. I have no idea when/if I will ever finish it but I am hoping to, eventually.
