I wish the hatred between them would've lasted longer than like 2 or 3 chapters. Also so,e dialogue was cringy. However, cute book.

Mollie inherits a cattle ranch from her estranged father complete with an unusual stipulation: to earn her inheritance, she must live and work on the ranch for an entire year…alongside grumpy foreman Cash Rivers.

I love a good cowboy romance, and this book absolutely delivered. It was sweet and spicy, and offered all the best elements of the cowboy/small town/enemies-to-lovers/grumpy sunshine tropes. I was really rooting for Mollie and Cash AND properly invested in the entire setting and family for the books to come in the series!

A particular shout out here to the third act. The handling of a romance third act is something I am EXTREMELY picky about to say the least, so when I say this one was absolutely FLAWLESS, that is a compliment of the highest order. I was so deeply impressed and it made me love the book and the reading experience that much more.

Cash is a joyful and sexy read. It is as deep as it is funny, as hot as it is soft. Mollie and Cash have gorgeous chemistry, and riff off of each other perfectly. I laughed out loud reading Mollie’s comebacks and the Rivers brothers’ encouragement, as they put grumpy Cash put in his place. I loved seeing him come out of his shell and begin to let down his walls, letting his brothers take on more responsibility.

I’m excited to learn more about the Rivers boys and the rest of the side characters because I have questions! How did Sawyer become a single dad? Is Wheeler’s name actually Wheeler? So many questions! December 26th can’t come soon enough.
