Smart, witty, cozy, and gripping. This is a very cozy novel with a middle aged lovable protagonist that isn’t more concerned with dating than solving a murder (for once)! Though there was flirting and light romance, that wasn’t the mail plot and I really appreciated that. I loved the added elements of Pandora’s chapters, and all the supporting characters were good additions rather than filler characters for plot development only. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

There is nothing like a cozy mystery to help me turn off after a big week. Ghosts, cats, magic and murder, what more could a girl ask for in a cozy! While this was not a complex read, it was fun, light and a great introduction to this series (although I have read a later book in the series in the past).
