I'm just not into this new storyline with Cindy. I wasn't crazy about how they were doing the Tenth Doctor to begin with, but now it is getting weird. I also miss the cute journal entries at the end of the book. Those kind of helped bring up my opinion of this series.

Even though this had enjoyable stories, I just want them to get on with the Anubis storyline because I want to see how that is going to be concluded.

Open end, the title has nothing to do with the content and the stories don't really make sense. Baddies are just bad without actual motivation and reasoning? And the core element of Ten was that he gave even baddies a chance. This was completely forgotten here.

I enjoyed the book in the sense that it kept my interest just enough to be a quick read but just about every twist in the story was so heavily foreshadowed that it never gave me an 'Oh My God' moment. The dialogue often caused me to pause with its odd additions of "hahaha's" and other stylistic choices. But it kept me engaged enough to finish the book. It was fine, just nothing special.
