9.9 times out of 10, I love everything from this author, so I was surprised after starting this one that I did not love it right off the bat.
For the most part I enjoyed the story and very likeable characters, but then I kept noticing all the similes that seemed to be on every page. This took away from the book for me as they became a distraction. I don’t know if it was the sheer number of them in the book, or the somewhat odd use of them at times that detracted from the flow of the story, but as I went on they became even more glaring. I am reluctant to read the next one in this series([b:Strip Search|395274|Strip Search (Sexy Capers, #2)|Shayla Black|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1283526194s/395274.jpg|384781])for this reason, but may test out a chapter or two and see how it goes…
I am still for sure a fan, but this one just didn’t do it for me.

This is not the best of the Shelley Bradley/Shayla Black erotic romance books, but it is still a fun light vanilla romance. This is an earlier book, and the author's writing under both of her pen names has vastly improved. Still, I liked the characters a great deal, and the story was fun and unique. If I could I would give this a 3.5 rating, but since I cannot but she gets rounded up because she has given me a lot of pure fun reading pleasure over the years.
some parts felt redundant and totally predictable but still good feels overall. and tears. there were some tears.

Whom ever gave this book a bad review was out of their mind. It was great I loved it. It had chemistry, love, great sex and easy reading for an enjoyable book to read at the beach. Good job.
