In her debut novel, Melissa Grace has captured hearts all over, and I can see why. Written with charm and playful humor I simply loved this story. I found myself rooting for Liv and Jax from the beginning.

To all the girls who ever sang into a hairbrush and dreamed of the day the Kenny Chesney would spot you in the crowd and know you were meant to be (just me?

Thank you Melissa for sending me a arc copy of your book.

Wow... this is one of my fav reads of the year! I loved everything about this book and read it in 3 days. I love Jax and Livs relationship and how Jax showed Liv what true love really is. I felt all the emotions that came with this book, heartache with tears in my eyes, warmth and happiness (I love books like this)❤ Livs friendship with Ella and her niece Grace is a friendship that's really special. I was sad when the book ended, but I'm really relieved that there will be 2 more books in the series and I really can't wait to read them

Once upon a time, Liv was a musician - until her now-ex-husband caused her to leave her dreams of a music career behind. She fills her days with her bakery, her (very unsociable) cat and her sister from another mister Ella and Ella’s daughter Grace. That is, until Ella drags her to a meet and greet with the band Midnight in Dallas. Jax, the lead singer of the band, immediately falls for her. The problem? He’s MUCH younger, and Liv is scared of getting her heart broken again.

The story alternates between Liv and Jax’s point of view, and takes us on a journey through their lives, and facing past demons. It shows us the power of family (whether actually related or not) and being true to ourselves.

I loved this book, and am struggling to our down the sequel, Home Again!

Thanks to @heymelissagrace for the digital review copies!

Whoa, Oh My Goodness! This book was great, it broke me in all the right ways! Strangers to lovers, food (specifically baked goods), a sassy friend full of humor, an age gap romance all in music city and that is just a peek at what this book will give you! A wonderful debut novel that is first in a series (she posted to her stories yesterday book two if coming this summer

This one is a little bit too cheesy at times (for my taste) and I'm not a HUGE fan of the "ordinary" woman meets "rockstar" trope. BUT with all that said ... this is well written and enjoyable! I was interested to see what would happen and really anxious to read book #2 in the series. I LOVED the friendship between Liv, Ella, and Grace so so dang much. I would read a whole book on their relationship and adventures! Also I FREAKING LOVED Mama! LOL

"All I know is I feel all twirly and like my heart is going to fall out of my butt."

How can you have a quote like that and not like the characters? This book had amazing characters who were all down to earth and super nice.

I really enjoyed reading a book with a Nashville setting because I knew exactly where they were when they spoke about places, like the Krispie Kreme in Berry Hill.

I appreciated  Liv's journey of coming to love herself and see that she deserved to be loved.

If you like squeaky clean romances and the Nashville Music scene then definitely pick up this book!

Thank you so much to the author, Melissa Grace, for the gifted ARC of her debut novel.

This book was so cute! Jax and Liv’s chemistry had me squealing out loud at times, they were so adorable. I loved the whole supporting cast too - especially Ella and Grace! - and the Nashville music scene setting is so fun (my sister lived there for many years and I’ve visited tons!). While the chemistry is steamy, this book doesn’t stray beyond PG-13. It gets cheesy at times (lots of donut jokes!) but has a level of self awareness that helps balance it out. Overall, it’s the perfect palette cleanser - light, sweet and easy to read. This would be PERFECT as a Hallmark or Netflix movie -- I’d watch it in a heartbeat!

I'm also excited it's part of a series, can't wait to find out what it will be about next!
