This book was precious. It was light, fun, witty. I absolutely adored it. Jax is one of my favorite fictional men! To me, it felt like this story came so easily to author Melissa Grace. The writing was great— I felt several emotions. I cried for two chapters straight.. (I’m an easy crier, don’t judge LOL).

I would definitely recommend this book! I’m starting the second one now and got an ARC for the third. So I’ll post those reviews soon!

I loved this so much. so wholesome and sweet while also having a different plot than a lot of romance books i’ve read. does famous main character without being cheesy or cliché. Honestly, the characters were just so lovable and the chemistry so sweet you couldn’t help but root for them.

I adored this book! Liv has been broken down by a past relationship but still worked hard to build a thriving business. Her best friend Ella gets her to join her and her daughter to a Midnight in Dallas show where we meet the band. All of the guys in the band are so sweet, y’all!

Jax and Liv make an immediate connection and are inseparable! They have such a sweet connection and Jax helps bring Liv back to her true love for music and show her she is worth chasing her dreams for. He helps her see that she has amazing talent and is also patient with her.

The writing flowed so well and although this was a clean romance it was still hot! Ella (her best friend) is a spitfire and amazing, I can’t wait to read more of her story in the next book!

Now I’m ready to book a trip to Nashville! ;)

it took me a little while to get into, but i really liked the first book in this series! i wish midnight in dallas was a real band because i think i would totally love their music!

i loved the found family aspects of it, how jax supported liv so much in her dream to get back into music, and how all of the side characters felt like main characters because they were so well developed and distinct. i thought the plot flowed pretty well and the spice was super well-written.

i didn't love how the romance started with insta-love, or love at first sight, but that's just a personal preference. i also feel like the author over-used dialog tags instead of just saying "said," but that could also be a personal pet peeve.

overall, a sweet and fun romance that got me excited for everyone else's love stories!

“Will you let me know you?”
-Jax

Oh my goodness. The cuteness from this book is just perfect.

Baker Liv is the kind of jilted person that we all should thrive to be. She was broken down and lost confidence in herself because of the wrong person in her life. Through that pain and suffering though, she built something for herself. She built a life and a family around her that helped bring the best out of her and got her to love herself again.

Midnight in Dallas’ singer Jaxon had a pretty good life. He felt more at home on the road then he ever did in his apartment. The way Jax wanted something more than tour busses and fast food for every meal made me root for him. Even with a rough start at life, Jax turned out well rounded and became a good hearted person, it was still heartbreaking to hear him wonder if he will ever have what he dreamt of-a place to call home.

The two meet while Liv is having a very girlfriend only conversation that Jax just happens to hear the end of. It was ridiculously funny and probably the best way for the two to break the ice. As the two become closer, the way Liv brought down her walls and allowed Jaxson in was so refreshing. Too many times does a MC have too much baggage that they fight the connection to the point that it almost seems best the two part ways a move on. The way Jax falls for Liv, and shows it, helps her know what they have is something different. Which in turn has her looking at herself in a much better light.
