i loved the writing. it was able to give me a basic visual of what's going on. the detail in explaining how the main character (Charlotte) is feeling is amazing. the plot was decent too.

Book has extremely triggering subjects, but also very beautifully written, and captures you completely.

Goddamn is this a heavy, dark book. Please please please look at CWs and TWs before reading. However, I really loved this book. It was so beautifully written and did a good job not to romanticize the issues it discusses. I would happily read this again and again.

This book taught me to not to be scared of my scars and what people think. Life is a scary world, but you got to take it one step at a time to get somewhere. I enjoyed this book, it has a lot of TW’s (just for warning ⚠️ , and can get really dark and scary). I think it was well written, and something I needed to read. Charlie has a lot of downs, but in the end she has her beginning of her up.

Life is scary and it can get really hard sometimes. We can be filled with an overwhelming feeling of darkness, and sometimes need a little time away. Sometimes it’s like an ocean, we stand up and the waves wash over us and blur what’s going on.
