There’s definitely a lot of good information in this book, and something that a lot of people could benefit from reading. Just being more self-aware of certain traits could make people a lot better as people.
The anecdotes along with every little section were TEDIOUS, though.

Cool book.
I loved the first couple of chapters till we split into four main sections to work on then the book became very general knowledge and not as helpful.
Try the test though.

I'm not sure I'm actually done reading this. I'll be working on my Emotional IQ for a while.
Good info, but nothing I haven't heard before. This book doesn't translate well to audio at all - it would be better in hard copy so you could just flip to the sections that you were interested in.

I got about halfway through before I stopped. Most of the suggestions being made to supposedly improve EQ are capable of being learned in almost any other way.

Overall I really like the book, it goes over some stuff that is already common sense but a lot of people needed to be reminded of. One of the problems that I have with the book or more so with the actual EQ test it’s self, is that it doesn’t equate for people that can have a high EQ but choose not to use their EQ tools
I know a few people that need to read this book…but I pray that everyone can read it and apply it to their lives.

This is one artful photoshoot away from being a Very Special Issue of Real Simple.
