incredibly charming book, i loved every second of this. i think it is easy to fall in love with this book. a highlight for me was all the different characters, who were just so wonderful in their own ways. highly highly recommend the audiobook, sarah jane drummey is a phenomenal narrator and she injects so much life into the characters while you’re listening.

Such a cute book. Relatable to basically everyone on the planet and such a cute love story that is actually realistic in terms of what high schoolers go through and how they actually are.

This was very similar to The Falling in Love Montage from problems with parents to characterization. I just like Smyth debut book better even though this was good.

I LOVED THIS BOOK.

It was a very light and quick reading without being boring.

It had the right amount of comedia and drama. I loved that Aideen and Meabh's bickering never got old or repetitive. It was so subtle I found myself giggling every time they found themselves on their loop of bickering.

I loved Meabh and Aideen's development as characters, too, ESPECIALLY IN THE LAST CHAPTER! Their characters weren't plain, and it was nice to connect with them in one way or another.

Also, this book deserves a million stars for the use of the word LESBIAN more than once throughout it all. I know it's like the bare minimum, but it's refreshing to see people are not scared to write about two open lesbian characters without abusing the words "gay woman."

I'm so glad I gave it a chance! It was certainly so entertaining and fun

I love this so much. ‘Enemies’ to lovers is my favorite sapphic trope ever. Most books with that trope are fantasy and I don’t read fantasy so Im so glad to find a contemporary book that fits what I like! Aideen and Meabh reminded me of Noelle and a mix of Akarsha/Min from butterfly soup!

I adore all the characters in this book so much, Kavi has my heart. Their friendship means so much to me. I would love for this to be a series especially because of the ending.
