Elin Hilderbrand is a great author. All her books are the same (or nearly the same) - plot involving fractured families on Nantucket and the development that happens. But yet, every single one is somewhat different and so compelling. Bravo again for keeping me sucked in until the end. (also, 1st book of my 100 books in 2011 resolution...finished when the New Year was but 2 hours old, and yes, I did start it in 2010 but I'm counting it anyway).

The affluent, WASPy world Hilderbrand writes about is as alien to me as any sci-fi novel, so the fact that she makes it so identifiable speaks to her talent as a writer.
