Overall, I enjoyed the book! There wasn’t very much of a plot to it and it was mostly a why choose between twin brothers so the spice was definitely spicing 🥵
I enjoyed the writing style and felt it was very easy to follow and some of the conversations could pass for real life. I loved that the author included kinks in this book that I hadn’t read about before and had no idea they were “a thing” until this book. The creativity was definitely flowing!
My biggest regret with this book and why I can’t rate it any higher is that I wish it wasn’t as fantastical and far fetched as it was. I know that this is a fictional dark romance but there is a way to write characters and plots that still make it come alive and connect the reader to the characters; unfortunately, that aspect fell short for me.

I really enjoyed this book!! I loved the characters, but this was just shy of 5 stars for me as I felt the end was quickly wrapped up and done. so much into the first three quarters of this books for it to be all covered in the next 50 pages. great read, 4/5 for spice as well!

First thing I'll say. Read the trigger warnings. This is a dark book. Not as dark as others but pretty dark with heavy triggers that are not romanticized which, honestly, I'm grateful.

That said. I loved this book. Zayden and Dominic... in real life, I would run away screaming. In fictional life though, I've fallen hard for those two men and, yes, also for Blake.

There were a few twists and turns that left me a bit baffled (The entire thing with Maxim comes to mind) but it was not so much a break into the plot of the story to make me put it down. I did not, put it down often. I work crazy hours and spent the little bit of off time I have into this book.

Great spice, gritty narration with a FMC that is flawed but who is not afraid (or less than she should) into discovering the darkness in her despite her trauma.

And though I mentioned it... the SPICE is SPICY!

WAY TOO DARK and MESSED UP. I would never pick this book but read for a book club. Gave me the ick with 2 brothers and the childhood traumas shining bright like diamonds. No substance only violence, incest and f*ckery. Literally almost stopped reading but I’m no quitter 😆.

DID NOT FINISH: 14%

The writing just wasn’t compelling me to continue, and it was a slow start where I felt like I was supposed to instantly fall for the bad boy Graves brothers and their protectiveness towards the FMC. It just felt meh to me, and I didn’t really care for the FMC either. I struggled to get to 14%.
