I’m really surprised I’m not more surprised by the things I’m ok with while reading anymore. Trigger warnings are becoming more like spoiler alerts and I’m not even going to question it. Zayden proved this point so many times, especially when I laughed at his exuberance for his anniversary gift.

This was a ride. It was very dark, so please pay attention to the trigger warnings. That said, I enjoyed it for the most part. It was slow at times and then wrapped up pretty quickly. The last 20% was full of twists and turns I didn’t see coming at all. I loved how their relationships grew and how they made each other stronger.
