Just couldn’t get into it

I’ve been in a bit of a slump. Looking for a dark romance but not quite hitting the mark with anything I’ve read the last few weeks.

This hit the spot and I can finally go back to fantasy. I think the two warnings about reading the book were a little extra. It’s not something you haven’t read before but it’s everything you need. A good mix of depravity and emotion. The only reason it wasn’t a 5* was the twin thing and the pregnancy trope right at the end but that was in the TW’s so I can’t really complain.

Katelyn is a new author to me, and I was blown away by this book. I loved it! I need to check out her other books.

RTC

I love a MFM setup or multiple M book in general. But twins?! I was swinging my feet when i first saw this opportunity and I can happily say it didn’t disappoint. I love a good dark romance and the writing /character development had me hooked. I want to listen to the audio next and honestly, this one will probably make my very rare list of re-reads!

Damn this book was so unhinged I loved it. And the SPICE. MMPH

WHEW.

Dominic was probably the most tolerable person in this book. Even though he was a pushover and the dom personality didn't come out that much. I doubt the 3 of them would work without him because Blake ends up just as unhinged as Zayden. Nothing else to really say other than I would have shut the door on Blake after what she was doing behind his back.

Blake started off wonderful and quickly took a left turn once Zayden was introduced. All logic and reasoning fled the building. Her choices to do what she did behind Dom's back made my skin crawl. Then had the audacity to cry to him about it. Bitch please.

Zayden is what you can expect from an unhinged grey character. He had no personality other than being obsessed with Blake and killing. *yawn*

There was zero plot. If there was one...it didn't translate properly over here. Just a ton of smut and killing. Which is cool sometimes if the romance is written well...but in this case it wasn't.
