This sat on my shelf so long, and I'm not really clear why. I read this in one go, and it kept me engaged the entire time. I wish we would have gotten a little more background on the killer, as I didn't really feel that I knew anything about him, but all in all, this was a great read. Fast-paced and well thought out.

What a thrill ride this book was!

For me, this book is hands down my top favorite suspense novel. The twists and turns were throughout every chapter. The amount of times I had to look over my shoulder while reading this book in my own home was absurd. There were nights I could not even read this before bed.

Unsub deserves a movie or a TV show. If you are a lover of Criminal Minds like myself this is not a suggestion read for you. This should be a MUST read for you.

Caitlin was a perfect fit to be a main character and who I pictured for Sean was extremely steamy. These characters had heart, they had gut and it was honestly the best book cast I've read. I cannot wait to read the sequel.

This book was really good! I'll definitely be checking out other books in the series! I could imagine what Caitlin and her father went through because of the Prophet, and it was neat to try and put the pieces and clues together while Caitlin did. I got really into it and read every chance I it. I could imagine some scenes so clearly that they almost had me crying or had me sick to y stomach when I imagined the pain Caitlin, Mack, and others went through or the awful crime scenes. Some twists in it really surprised me, and I like that in a thriller. For example, I won't go into details, but I didn't expect the book to end the way it did. This book was very well-written and kept me interested from start to finish! I can't wait to read the next one!

On a whim, I bought this on sale. I figured at the cost of a latte, I could get 300+ pages of entertainment and if it sucked, not a big deal. As a fan of thrillers, mysteries, crime fiction, and police procedurals, how is it that I never heard of this novel nor author before?! Seriously, the recommendations algorithm needs to be tweaked. Anyhow... not sure why the tactical team didn't bring NVGs... but then again why be prepared when hunting a serial killer? This was a fast-paced story. The internal dialogue when dropped in a fearful situation for the heroine was intense and nail-biting. I stayed up way too late to finish this book. Looking forward to the next book in the series
