So I really don’t cry much when reading. But I got so close. The tears were ready to fall. Absolutely heartbreaking but important novel. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re not in a good mental space.

Powerful portray of what it is felt by a kid in a situation of pain and grief in their family. It allows the reader to fell connected to the emotions felt by Connor and that from my personal experience are very truthfully portray about the lost of a parent during your childhood or adolescense.
