A great addition to the ‘When Tomorrow Calls’ series. The near future, psychological thriller we have all come to love.

Fast paced, intriguing, and of course a side of damn hot!
This novella compliments the series exceptionally well, providing an origins prequel to Keke, some of the main plot thread of the series, and some of the key character relationships.

All in all a great read. Thank you JT for the ARC and enjoyable experience.

Definitely leaves you wanting to read the series again.

Not bad, but not great. I found the characters to be two-dimensional. I couldn't find a reason to either care about them or get engaged with them. The writing style was a bit to 'breathless' for me, with the author seemingly trying to make everything dramatic. I did want to see how it ended and stuck with it. This book is apparently first in a series and I won't be reading any more of them. I'm glad it was a freebie.

Solid writing, engaging characters, evolving mystery, interesting near-future world-building. Planning to read the next in the series.

Another great offering from JTL!

I really enjoyed learning more about Keke, and the background of the When Tomorrow Calls series.

Can't wait for the next installment!

I received this book from the author for an unbiased review.

and it was so amazing, having following all the story here, it's pretty cool how everything connects and began to have so much sense from the perspective given on the firsts books.

I discover KK in a new light and wao it was so interesting, it did delve in various characters but KK and Marco were the protagonists for me on this one.

a good thrill ride for anyone who likes or loves this series so much like me.

I really love these characters and this incredible world that JT Lawrence has built. It was so fun to hear from them and enjoy a few prequel events that really get you thinking about the stories of the other 3 books.

I really enjoyed stepping back into this world and learning more about Keke's back story. This is a prequel to the 'When Tomorrow Calls' series, a cyberpunk thriller set in the near future. Now I want to read the series again!

Hmmm... I think I need to go back and re-read "Why You Were Taken". Cool little short story and got to re-acquaint myself with all the cool characters from "Why You Were Taken" and "The Stepford Florist".
