A beautifully and emotionally well written, truly original complex story of a family with generations of secrets. The beginning sets up for a twisty timeline of events that came together beautifully, but might be a bit slow going for some.
The time travel was incredible to navigate along with June, though there were some parts of breaking the "curse" to it that I was a bit confused on. But it all came together beautifully in the end. All the characters were amazing, and the love that June was able to find and have was just 🤌 and one of the moments that was revealed made me tear up! What an incredible book!

Every once in a while I come across a book that makes me slow down and just savor the words. The Unmaking of June Farrow was exactly that kind of read.
Time travel usually confuses me, but this one was done so well. It wasn’t overwhelming, and the way Adrienne Young explained it felt natural and easy to follow. Honestly, I was hooked from start to finish.
I loved everything about it…the romance, the suspense, the small town setting, and the old-fashioned way of life. It all blended together in such a beautiful way. This is only my second book by Adrienne Young, but it won’t be my last.

J’ai bien aimé. Le livre se dévore et on a qu’une hâte : avoir toutes les pièces du puzzle pour résoudre cette énigme familiale. Néanmoins, l’ensemble reste assez prévisible, je ne suis pas tombée des nues mais je le recommande pour celleux qui aiment les intrigues fantastiques, les dénouements simples et tout doux.
