I thought this was pretty entertaining, but I always think graphic novels are too short and end too soon. I could have used some more. The drawings were well done and really catch the eye. Like I said though, I just wanted more.

I needed a few more books to complete my 2015 reading challenge. My 14-year old selected this graphic novel for me, from the library's YA section. It's weird. Faulty logic at times. Interesting tiny scenes that a young teen, boy or girl, could relate to, that would probably go unnoticed by younger readers. Do I recommend it? No.

A quick read with some nice character development. Nothing like starting a friendship to save your life!

Brain Camp is a quick read with nice illustration. It was nice to see the two protagonists who started off disliking each other becoming good friends and solve the mystery of their camp. The story is a little scary and great graphic novel for a junior reading level

I enjoyed the art, but the dialogue and story were a bit rough. Tweens would probably enjoy this story of first love/camp, if they also enjoy sci fi.

I would not recommend and I'm so disappointed because I thought it would be so much more.

This twilight-zoney type graphic novel is funny and creepy:

Jenna and Lucas find themselves at a camp better than their parents ever dreamed they could get into. It is a camp with the promise of making them perfect. But at what costs? Jenna and Lucas begin to notice quite quickly that something is wrong with everything: the food, the campers, the counselors... But what is really going on?

Not what I expected :P
My daughter warned me that something fishy was going on but I was not expecting what actually happened.
Another reviewer objected to the use of the "r" word (I agree - not necessary) and the wet dream. Eh, the wet dream is part of normal adolescence as was Jenna having her period and related bathroom issues. That part didn't bother me.
It was a decent story although I wasn't a fan of the parents at all. Really parents? Y'all suck.

Funny! Strange! But a good read. I think that teens would enjoy it more than I did however it did show good examples of how to deal with different situations.
