She’s his cousin that he calls a sister … eewN

I got it into my head last month to read the complete catalogue Jane Austen, but this book has brought me to a screeching halt, despite Persuasion, Northanger Abbey, and Emma still remaining unread. I loved P&P, and S&S was enjoyable. But this one, through no fault of the narrator (who was perfectly fine), was like watching paint dry. Having zero likeable characters makes this overly long parade of inanity feel like torture rather than escapist amusement. I only just barely avoided DNFing this, and now I need a very very VERY long break.
