I love books with abusive boyfriends--- don't know what about it. Dare defintley fit that bill. Bit of an open ending with hannah?? It has a hea for the couple--- but it's not really happy since Aubrey shouldn't be with him.

This was a deliciously dark & sinful love story, that will make you question your morals. Aubrey is just trying to get through senior year, but she never could have seen Dare coming & she certainly wasn’t prepared for him.

i liked the premise & the first 30% of the book, but Dare just seemed stupid to me?? boy was losing mind games from his own psycho girlfriend and just overall wasn’t cool enough for me to justify the heroine falling for him. even the heroine was completely forgettable & really stupid.
the nudes u shared w one guy are now all over the internet but you’re texting him & giggling in the next minute.
really disappointing read because i love dark romance & Untouchable by this author, but this book’s characters just felt weak to me. the side characters had more backbone & brains than both the main characters combined.

The narrators killed it for me, captured Dare and Aubrey perfectly

Yep! She ruined me again! I have never been able to get over Untouchable and no villainous hero has ever come close to Carter until… Dare! He is the psycho I never knew I needed. He is unbelievably selfish, emotionally resonant, nefarious, cocky, and unhinged but he is also devoted to Aubrey to a fault, incredibly possessive and protective of her. His obsession knows no bounds. Though he always seems to have an ulterior motive, he always gives Aubrey what she wants/needs to make her happy at the end. Till death do us part is actually originated from him. Since I am a sucker for non-con/dub-con tropes, I found Dare and Aubrey’s chemistry earth-shattering and knee-buckling. I say trust the hype. Whatever Mariano puts out, it will always consume her fans and rightfully so. I am giddy about the upcoming Coastal Elite Series hoping to find more Carters and Dares to fall for. I hope the new book comes out sooner rather than later.
