" [...] como diría Blangis, un infierno habitado por los de nuestra misma especie, a pesar de todas las torturas, es mucho más deseable que un cielo ocupado por los seres monótonos a quienes nos presentan como modelos de virtud."
La blasfemia a dios fue un deleite para obra de tal época, lo más rescatable de la novela.
Sin embargo, demasiada violencia y mosoginia, sobre todo, en esas últimas páginas; masticable, pero no digerible.

A dark controversial tale, bound to make you cycle through every emotion possible from titillation to abject horror. Not for the faint of heart or easily offended.
I was waiting for the water to warm and for some reason a passage from this book came into my head and I remembered with visceral revulsion that once, years ago, I tried to read this. And that I had strong opinions, which boils down to one thing: don't read this.
This is the literary equivalent of an underage snuff porn movie. A badly written one.
Unless you are studying sex-psychology, or criminology specializing on violent sexual offenders, you won't get anything out of this book, and I'm honestly not sure about those either.

Will you judge me if I give this book a good rating? I found it absolutely fascinating. It's disturbing and dark (not to mention highly scatological) but I laughed at the absurdity of some of the stories, which I hope was the point. If you consider this book from a logical standpoint, there are times it falls apart. However, it's a great peek into a twisted mind. I wish he had been able to finish it - truly finish it, not just notes.

Forgot to put it here.
I remember when I read it I thought that it seems like rough notes to some future work. That later it would be developed into something emotional and not as distant when we could see it from the point of some victim to be utterly shocked.
But nothing like that ever happened and therefore the disappointment.
Nothing you wouldn't see in modern media up there.
