I read this book in preparation for the jungle storytime this week. Cub wants to join the Jungle Run but the other animals tease them for being too small. I like that Cub got to set everyone right, but it wasn't a very kind, sportsmanlike book on anyone's side even though they tried to aim for that toward the end. I can see many readers liking this though, and it would work for a group or one-on-one.

For: jungle animal fans; readers looking for a racing book.

Possible red flags: characters in peril; poor sportsmanship.
