This series has been a bit of a back and forth for me so far. I absolutely loved book 1, book 2 didn’t really keep my interest, and back in love with book 3. Makes me wonder how book 4 will go. Will I love it or hate it lol.

This book had me from the start. It is different from the other 2 books in a good way. I really loved the FMC Riley! Her fearlessness and banter were off the charts, and I found myself connecting with her right of way. As for the MMC Malek what’s not to love. He kept telling himself it was revenge for his brother's death, but his actions told a different story. The way Malek spoke to her in Russian while taking care of her in the tube, yes please! Even though this was told from the FMC POV I still felt connected to both characters equally.

Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Just a spicy good time mafia read. I know I would enjoy this series way less if I read vs. listened to the audiobook. There is a large interconnected plot and continued character development so wouldn’t recommend starting this without having read the previous two.

nah cause wtf. do note this is the first book ive read from this book series bc i saw this as a recommendation on reddit okay so i thought i’d give it a try. i dnf this at 30% because there were so much thinngs that made me cringe and roll my eyes at our fmc. first off, i hated how rylie kept simping and ogling at her sister’s man like as someone with a sister who has a boyfriend, i will most DEFINITELY not start drooling over him in front of her that is so weird. and especially all the inner monologue about him like it looks like she wants to marry the man instead istg. another is the fact rylie is too bratty for my taste and so negative like i was so tired or irritated whenever she puts herself down and complains about how her sister looks better 24/7 and doesnt do anything to change that mindset idk. lastly is the fact that an actual murderer is holding her by the neck and threatening her and she starts being mouthy and shi and it’s all cringey lines too.

im sorry yall but i just cant take it.
