Enjoyable and entertaining. Did not enjoy as much as the first two. The ending felt rushed, and the build-up could have gone in so many more exciting directions than what happened. I finished the book but honestly considered stopping about 3/4 of the way through because the pace slowed down. I wish there had been more tense moments, especially towards the end. It didn't feel like there was closure to certain elements, but maybe that will come in the next book.

Malek & Riley ( favorite)

Riley is all attitude, trauma, and sharp edges—my kind of heroine. And Malek? Oof. A terrifying, silent cartel assassin with the soul of a storm and a heart he swore he didn’t have... until her. The way he watched her, protected her, worshipped her in his quiet, lethal way? I'm ruined.

This book is the definition of dark romance done right—dangerous, delicious, and deeply emotional. If you're into ruthless men who fall silently but completely, and women who match their fire with fire, Savage Hearts will devour you.

🎧 mafia romance, mistaken identity, slow burn
This was my least favorite of the series so far. It was still so good. I just felt a little disconnected from Riley. I liked the plot and how Spyder’s story is weaved in to get to the final book. The narration was top notch with Sloane and Riley having similar yet distinctly different voices and Troy Duran is once again able to change his voice just enough to be someone different. I truly think the audiobooks are the way to go with this series.
