Oh my…this book had me so anxious for the characters but I was finally able to let out a sigh of relief and then I was in tears almost straight away. I just want to give Ash and Hannah the biggest hug! I can’t wait to devour the next book but I also don’t want the story to end.

The longer the Broken Kingdom series goes on, the more I am trapped by it. And, as I've already said in my other review, I didn't think I would love Mallie and Kase as much as Valen and Elise, but hey, I proved myself wrong. And I'm so glad about it :) This book was so good, so packed with actions, emotions, hurt, sadness, love, anger, really everything was there. And the devotion (and this is an important concept in regards to the entire series and the myth surrounding it) Malin has for Kase is just out of this world.
This book was not so bad, just nothing happened really. Spoilerish but 75% of the book is trying to figure out a way to get Nightrender to remember them and rescue him. He was definitely not as cool as in other books. The end finally made some progress so hopefully the next book moves better, plot wise.

Mal, the Kryv, and the Falkyns are SCHEMING hard to free Kase and it’s so fun to witness Mal’s relationship with the guilds really solidify and form into a tight knit found family for her 🫶🏻 The side characters really start to bloom with their own little subplots and I became so attached to many of them (💔 RIP *spoiler*😭)
