I thought I was going to die while Kase had his memories altered and waiting for them to find a way to get him back, but it was well worth it in the end!  I love seeing more of the other characters grow and show their strengths as well.  And that ending has me needing to start the next book asap! I'm absolutely loving this series!

I loved this story!! I know this book got a little flack for being slow in the middle and the "separation" dragged on for far too long, but personally I didn't think it was that bad. The story was strong and I enjoyed the side stories and development of a lot of the side characters. I loved watching the guilds develop and come together and watching the mesmer come alive in more advanced ways.

And AGAIN, the author ended the story (in the last two chapters alone) that made the entire book completely worth reading and eager to grab the final book of Malin and Kase's adventure. 

Wonderful book! I'm almost sad to start the next book as I'm not ready to give us Kase and Malin yet!
