• I dreaded starting the is book because of the cliffhanger I was left on. I knew it was going to start out sad but thankfully we were eased into the tense plot in a way I didn’t have anxiety over it. 
• The ending had me crying, laughing, and then excited for the next book. Bring on the battle!

I really enjoyed this book, not as much as the previous one but it was a good book to bridge over into the next one.

Kase is still the man, but Malin has really grown into herself in this one! She steals the show and I look forward to the next one because she is going to be a become even better. The ending of her showing how well (not elaborating because its a spoiler and you gotta read it to find out). I am Team Malin and will defend her at all costs.

Kase really grows very little, I mean if you know what happens at the end of the previous one, then you know what I mean. But, he does become the Kase we loved in the first by the end. (IYKYK)

It ended in a way where I am not rushing to read the next book, but I am looking forward to reading it.

So good!

I was on edge the entire time reading this book! It was soooo good, I could not put it down. So many heart wrenching moments. Loved the banter between all the characters. There were also some hilarious laugh-out-loud moments. The plots were twisting so well that came together so beautifully. The side characters, wow. I LOVE these side characters just as much as I love the main characters. Gunnar and Luca are my favorite in this book.

What an amazing story of hate and lies. Wish I could read this again for the first time.
