This one was way better than the rest since you get attached to the new set of characters. I love how everyone came together to support both characters, I especially loved the ending!

Loved the conflict of this book. Mal and Kase are great in this book, just like I thought I like this one better than their first book. That river scene omg. And that end... I'm so excited to see where book 6 goes!

I've never been a fan of the separated overs trope but I can respect the way it plays out in this book. I was not expecting the blows we were dealt or how much fun it would be to watch the guild of Kryv lovingly gaslight Kase into clarity.
