Intriguing premise, and the first quarter of the book was compelling. But it was too “woe is me” and darker (especially for a YA) than I cared for. By the second half of the book I really didn’t care about any of the characters or the storyline.

In this book we have Nora, wes and iris at the bank and now caught up in a heist, they’re being held obviously by gun point and secrets start spilling for the means of surviving. 

Nora has some shit omg her mother literally changing her for the missions she puts her daughter in since she’s a con artist and we see learn about her past and the trauma she’s been through. F her mom honestly. 

I wished we had more time with wes and iris along with her sister which I felt horrible for, they’ve been through so much.
