There is this famous quote by George Orwell;

“If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever.”

Reading this book is like being the owner of that face, it is brutal and is written in such a way you are left in a daze as you try to keep up with it. Jesus DeJesus sets the tone on the very first page, in fact in the very first paragraph. This book is part bizarro fiction and part inspired by that time that Leo accidentally played with this cube and opened a portal to allow the Cenobites through. The story messes with your head big time and it seems to affect the flow, maybe I just kept blacking out...in fact my head does feel a bit fuzzy now I've reached the end.

At the very beginning in the acknowledgements Leo writes, "Thanks to my family for taking my advice and not reading this one. I’m sure I’ll write something appropriate one day!" I also hope my family don't start reading my reviews to find out I've read this book, and one day I will also read something appropriate.

I have to admit I did enjoy this, it is not often somebody is able to write a book where I have no idea where the story is going to end up. What I've taken from this book or the moral of the story is "When your Dad is about to give you your daily beating, don't deny him"...……………. That can't be right, right?
