Min Astrid Lindgren-fas fortsätter, underbart att få le och drömma sig bort. Emil var aldrig en favorit för mig men på äldre dar uppskattar jag detta mer, finns en historisk komponent utöver den kärleksfulla och lekfulla Astrid-tonen som alltid är oslagbar i mitt tycke.

cw: Märkt av sin tid i och med att Emil doppar Ida i lingonsylt för att "hon skulle bli röd som indianerna var".

SFPL big book sale 2017

The things I found this year! and I only visited one of the children books' tables.

Emil is a perfect scamp. he's basically a Swedish Dennis the menace. it's cute and silly with three escapades that he gets into (or that get into him, depending on your point of view). fun pictures and excellent narrator voice.
