Another one bites the dust! DNF.

Pretty awful. I've read much better fan fiction. The dialogue sounds so juvenile.

I found Penny to be an incredibly immature character and boring as well. The "attraction" between her and James feels incredibly forced. It's a fairly quick read or it would have been a DNF. It ends on a cliffhanger of sorts but I just can't endure more of the main character.

I don’t think I liked this, but I did read it in basically 2 nights and I am buying the sequel just to see if they get back together
emotional tense fast-paced

I personally disliked most of this book. The relationship between James and Penny seems so forced. I don't feel like they have any real chemistry. I also feel like they use sex as a tool to fix things. Which, I am fully aware this is a smutty book but still. They have no communication skills to the point it's infuriating.

I cannot stand Melissa, Penny's best friend. She's constantly begging Penny to go out and do things even if she doesn't want to. She just seems like a very exhausting friend to have.

The sexy scenes were top notch, that is why I gave three stars. Without the smut, I would have given two.

Oh my hotness!!! This book is everything!!! I loved the forbidden romance between a professor and student, I loved how James knew he should have stayed away from Penny but couldn’t, and I LOVED the office sex scene. I’m still cooling off from that one. Ivy is a great author who knows how to keep us turning the page. Highly recommended!!!

Should I keep going...

Can I be honest, this book felt like a car accident. You can't stop reading, but its a mess.

Penny is every bit the 19 year old girl she is. Unsure, naive, sweet, beautiful, clumsy and falls on love so easy. Professor Hunter is gorgeous, mysterious, dominate, emotion driven and completely off limits.

I couldn't connect with the characters, it felt chopped up to me. My favorite character through the book was Tyler, be should the most growth and deserved so much better. I'm debating on if I should continue....

I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected.
The only downside was how upset she was with him for «lying» when she continued to lie? And the poor man came begging her to take him back over and over, when she was acting horrible towards him…

Could comtinue this series.
