So boring. I don't think I really enjoy Harper's writing.
Definitely my favorite in this series. The character development was way better than the previous two, and there was a lot of heart in this one.
This was definitely her best book so far, her books get better and better and she has a real feel for character and plot.
I really enjoyed it. Most of the book is dripping slow bits and pieces but totally worth it. This and the first one are my favourite. They are also related, so I would probably suggest skipping the second one.
Another enjoyable read from Harper. It felt a bit sidetracked towards the middle-end. 3.5*
Doesn't have the same tension buildup as Jane Harper's other mystery thrillers. Enjoyable nonetheless, mainly due te the small town warmth

I have listened to all of Jane Harper's books on audio and they are all read by Stephen Shanahan. I want to marry his voice. I love an Aussie accent! I hope she keeps writing so I can keep listening. This was the 3rd Aaron Falk book, with a nice satisfying character arc that makes me think she's done with Falk. But I like her stand-alone books just as much. Highly recommend as audiobooks -- they are probably good reads, too.
