Ok so I thought I was going to love this book and I did for the majority of the book. My issues didn't come until the end. The reason why I docked a star off is because I feel like the time travel stuff to make a happy ending is just an easy way to finish up the book quickly and a little bit of a plot cop out. There could have been some awesome action and magic instead of going back in time to make everything perfect. Plus at the end Kelsea wasn't even satisfied with that. Such a strong first half to end like that...
The conclusion of this trilogy did not wrap up in any of the ways I had imagined. And I respect that in a book. I truly enjoyed the characters, even if I got a little lost (forgot several things from the previous books while waiting for this one to come out) at times. Very original in many ways, and a lot of familiar mixed in.

All that for a little bit of social democracy
did not anticipate reading 52% of this book in one sitting esp since it was a reread, but carpe diem i suppose (or carpe nox, because it is 2am)
tear my heart out why dontcha!!!!!!!! i actually can’t think about the last chapter without tearing up goodbye
the finale that we didn’t know we needed but it was exactly the only event that could have transpired this late in the game. when all else fails, wipe the slate clean.
my only complaint was that the chapters in katie’s POV dragged a little bit, and i totally understand how necessary they were to the overarching story but i always found myself wanting to hop back into kelsea’s POV
all in all, very sick very snazzy i am broken inside and i will never recover.
ps i am a lesbian but i would do ANYTHING. for lazarus. i can fix him i can do it.
okay bye

Okay, I didn't manage to finish this book before having my little baby and trying to finish it in the grips of postpartum was unimaginable. So its been months and months since I started this book, let alone this series BUT I finally finished it.
I loved how this book progressed and felt very satisfied with the ending. I did get a little blurry at bits because it had been so long between reads and some of it felt... maybe too easy??? but I think that's just the way with magic based things sometimes! Overall glad I read this and would recommend!
